Research

The Society can assist with any information relating to family and local history from our extensive archival files. The following services may be of interest.

Research Room

The Society maintains a Research Room at the Raymond Terrace Library at 18A Sturgeon Street, Raymond Terrace. Opening hours are Monday 9.30am - 2pm and Wednesday 9.30am - 2pm (excluding Public Holidays), or by appointment.

We can assist with family history, local history, historical photos and various local history publications. If you are unable to attend the research room in person, please email us at research@sketchleycottage.org.au with your contact information and details of the subject you'd like to research. Please note that research fees will apply.
